April’s Origami Program in the Media Center

Today was the first day of the origami program I set up in my school’s library/media center. I offered the program during the second half of third and fifth-period lunches.

I’d say today got off to a great start! I only had a class in the third period, but a lot of people showed up and I think everyone had fun. There was no one during fifth, but a special education teacher by the name of Mr. Walker asked if he could bring in his class Friday so I could teach them origami! That was very exciting, and I’m looking forward to that at the end of the week, as well as having a girl by the name of Lauren Humphries film my program!

My fifth-period teacher teaches videography class and offered me one of her students to film and edit together some footage for me to use when it comes time to apply for colleges or on my student resume. I was very grateful for her offer, and we’ll see how it goes Friday.

That’s all for now,
